LEM has developed into a one-of-a-kind, in-house laboratory equipment maintenance team that gives KAUST an edge over other academic institutions around the world. With a wide network of vendor relationships and service training efforts, we are one of the most versatile multivendor service teams in the region. Our model focuses on building strategic relationships with equipment manufacturers from different equipment classes to get the necessary support to replicate or surpass the service level provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Our Services are charged on a daily rate, with issuance of maintenance documentation, installation and test reports, or calibration records as applicable, along with the service provision.

              How to Request LEM External Services

              Weโ€™re here to support you throughout the entire registration process for accessing LEM External Services. Please follow the steps below:

              Step 1: Submit a Quote Request

              Start by submitting an initial external service quote request using the form below:

              Step 2: Register as a KAUST Customer

              If LEM can provide the requested service, your company will need to register as an official KAUST customer.

              Step 3: Sign the External Services Agreement

              Sign the External Services Agreement with LEM. This agreement is valid for 24 months.

              Step 4: Request LEM External Services

              Once your registration is complete, you can begin requesting external maintenance services through lem@kaust.edu.sa
